The Darkness
English retro glam-rock band that gained mainstream attention with their hit single "I Believe in a Thing Called Love" in 2003. The Darkness draw on the classic rock of bands like Queen and AC/DC, and sound somewhat cheesy in this day and age, though this is entirely intentional and very often tongue-in-cheek.They are not afraid to show off their musical talents and you will hear plenty of 80's style guitar solos on their debut album, Permission To Land.
