Jerry Cantrell

18th March 1966 -

Jerry Cantrell was the guitarist, main songwriter and secondary vocalist for the legendary group Alice In Chains. He launched his solo career in 1998 with Boggy Depot. Alice In Chains did not officially come to an end until April 2002 when lead singer Layne Staley was found dead of a drug overdose. Despite the tragedy, Cantrell managed to release his second solo album, Degradation Trip, the same year. He is currently playing alongside Billy Duff of The Cult in a band called Cardboard Vampyres.
